Know the real Name of God and the real Jesus (The truth in the Bible is that he is not the Son of God but an offspring of David and God punished him for his wickedness-which Jesus himself admitted) that all religions failed to teach us. DeleteThere are more than 1 Prophet of the Lord in these times now, some you must be cautious of, who are fake Prophets who think they know the last day, for no one knows that day, but God, not even Jesus. He will do as our Heavenly Father says, when it's time. Fear not, believers of Jesus, if God be for you, who can stand against you! This is for the world, not just some of us. We all want peace, without causing us our freedoms, to be who we choose to be, regardless of if we agree with one another or not, without fighting, or disrespecting each other or what each of us believe, individually. Nieno ...I agree partly with your opinion that organized religions are tools for control, because the individuals occupying a position in any given sect are human beings after all, with the same exposure to weaknesses and vulnerability for selfishness as any of us. But to say they are all that and nothing more is rather contradictory to your very admirable philosophy on living a life of empathy, don't you think? In my travels, I have certainly met more religious people who subscribe to your values and respect for our fellow man than people with no faith or belief in God.
DeleteBut does God exist? You say no, but may I ask how it is you know this to be a fact? If I were to answer this question honestly, I would have to say "I don't know." As humans we're limited to what our senses have come to accept and tell us is real. Proof of existence as we know it is something that you can physically see, touch, or hear. Personally, I've never seen God. Never hung out with him at any events; never shook his hand or had a convo with him. Does that mean he doesn't exist? Lots of things are out there that science simply cannot explain. But one thing science has taught us through discovery is that there are lots of things out there that existed long before we knew they existed.
I was raised Catholic but do not practice as an adult. Yet I firmly believe God exists and have my own relationship with him. And I subscribe to the same philosophies as you do when it comes to living a life dedicated to positive values regarding our fellow man.
Does science and our own senses not teach us that everything that exists had to have a beginning? It all started somehow, someway; it had to be created. That requires a creator. As I stated, I've never met him personally in any physical sense. But if we're here, to me it sounds much more logical to believe we came into being as te result of being created, and not by some unexplained accident.

He speaks not of Himself, but of God, and His son, Jesus Christ. He is gentle, Jesus is gentle to those who do not yet know Him yet. He will not force Himself on you, so we must not force Him on those who don't receive Him at this time. Either way, be at peace with one another. God is Love, that is what we should show to others.

To believe in God, and accept Jesus, and His mercy and forgiveness, is a personal choice. He is waiting for those He called, for such a time as this, it is a personal choice, live and let live, this is our Country, there is room enough for all of us. What does it profit us to argue this and that when there are bigger problems before us? Peace to you all!

ReplyDeleteIn these days, it is sad to watch those who call themselves Christians. By definition, one would derive to be like Christ or to understand His will or mission. Unfortunately, there seems to be an inverse proportion with the proclamation of Christianity and Moral (Christ grew in favor of God and man), the proclamation of Christianity and the understanding of creation (atheist have given us enough information to validate creation scientifically, FACT!!!), and the proclamation of Christianity and the care of the earth and its inhabitants (The Bible says dress and keep it).
ReplyDeleteJohn 3:16 says God love to world. John 3:17 says that God didn’t send His son to condemn the world (there are so many other biblical text that support LOVE). Savior, Master or Prophet, He is an example to be followed; If not, anything before or after is of NO consequence. So if you considered the waters of Revelation to be Gods people, then atheist would be rocks. Atheist believe that they came from rock soup, yet it is the atheist who are crying out for peace, caring for the earth and one another and pleased with the moral bar set by the Bible without the condemnation. Ironically, the bible considers it foolish to not believe in God, but in the last days or worse of times, the rocks will cry out!!!
In addition, for those who say that God would not allow this, they are correct for future terms. At the moment choice is allowed. Very soon those who have choosen a loving a peaceful nature will be sealed and others will not not be sustained any longer.
