Encyclopedia Britannica lists Nikola Tesla as one of the top ten most fascinating people in history. Nikola Tesla was an electrical engineer who changed the world with the invention of the AC (alternating current) induction motor, making the universal transmission and distribution of electricity possible. So why is he virtually unknown to the general public?
This rare film stars Orson Welles and features a dramatic recreation of a meeting between Nikola Tesla, Industrialist J.P. Morgan and Thomas Edison, that would decide the fate and future of today's Electric Power Industry in America and the world. But what happened to Tesla?
“Electric power is everywhere present in unlimited quantities and can drive the world's machinery without the need of coal, oil, gas, or any other of the common fuels.” -Nikola Tesla
“My brain is only a receiver. In the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength, inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know it exists.” -Nikola Tesla
“Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. Throughout space there is energy.” -Nikola Tesla
'Nikola Tesla Unlimited Free Energy Forever' is a comprehensive documentary featuring physicists and inventors who are challenging orthodox science to bring this non-polluting technology forward despite ridicule and suppression. See actual working prototypes that defy classical physics including phenomenal experiments in anti-gravity and the transmutation of metals.
“When wireless is perfectly applied the whole earth will be converted into a huge brain, which in fact it is, all things being particles of a real and rhythmic whole. We shall be able to communicate with one another instantly, irrespective of distance.” -Nikola Tesla

Tesla is timeless genius. He was born in the Serbian area (Lika) in Croatia.
ReplyDeleteRotating magnetic field is also his invention. The most important is that the frequency can affect the human mind and mood, and science has confirmed, latter on,this Tesla's statement.
Sadly, this genius died in poverty!
I agree, he is a timeless genious. But Lika is not a Sebian area in Croatia, it is Croatian area like the rest of the Croatia is. Tesla only originated from Serbia ethnically, that's all.
DeleteBack then, it was not Croatia, but Austro-Hungary, with the region knows as Vojna Krajina (Military Borderland), which was in fact, considered to be a Serbian area by the Emperor and by the government of Austro-Hungary.
DeleteThey had a certain kind of autonomy.
Cheers
Thanks Knowledgeable,you know history facts.
Delete"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless." Mother Teresa
Personally I'm uninterested where Tesla was from, As others have stated it's the inventions, ethics and treatment of the man that interest me. He is(In my humble opinion) one of modern historys most lost and unsung hero's. Robbed by others who capitilised on his dreams and inventions, His life is a lesson about what happens when a person tries to stand against the powers that be, because he wanted energy to be available to all for no discernable personal profit and big business interests had a sniff of money they ostracized him and he died in penuary. How very sad! One must wonder what else has been invented and supressed from the majority to ensure a few extra zeros go on the bank balance? Most people would agree that geo-thermal, solar and other forms of renewable energy are a reality, I have a neighbour in the UK who has solar panels on his roof, and a couple of modest wind tubines in the garden, Not only does he have NO electric bill he sells excess electricity back to the national grid. If they can do it the whole area could, His original investment will pay for itself in 7 years, after which he has a lifetime of free energy and a small profit too. As long as oil, coal and petro/gas giants can control our energy use and persuade the governments to tell us "renewable energy is not financially viable" we will watch our energy bills go up every year while our wages go down or stay the same and all future renewable inventions will be stifled until such a time as the energy hogs decide its time to switch (as no more natural fuel can be extracted) and they charge us the same for what should be free, clean energy.
DeleteIn Serbian area "Lika"in Croatia ????
DeleteIt is like saying Marko was born in Croatian area "Zajcer" in Serbia.
How stupid!
This is where Nationalism and Hegemony are at its worst when people want to take what does not belong to them.
SMINGB
It was my understanding that he lived the last years of his life in a hotel (room 3327) that was ironically powered with DC electricity (his competitor and ex-boss Thomas Edison's preffered method of supplying electricity.) It may be just me, but I wouldn't call that "poverty". Truly a man who was ahead of his time.
DeleteBecause he lived in a hotel?
DeleteMr. Tesla has been and always will be my hero and my idol. I hope I can meet him someday, somewhere. I would like to study what he knew.
ReplyDeleteHe died in the 40s. Gl.

DeleteGreat Post
ReplyDeleteThats it!!
ReplyDeleteI went to the same high school as Tesla, in Croatia. I get upset when, so often, I see how people argue about the origin of Tesla (or his family) - discussing if he was Croat or Serb. Is that what really matters!?! Don't you think you are totally missing the point and forgetting about Tesla's teaching? We are all humans of this planet Earth, and main Tesla's goal was to enable all humans to not to be poor (not just Croats or Serbs). My best wishes to all.
ReplyDeleteSo you're 156 years old? How stupid are you and how stupid do you think we are?
DeleteDamien, why are you being so angry? - It cannot be good for you. I didn't say I went to the same classroom as Tesla, I went to the same school "Gimnazija Karlovac" - it was built in 1863, Nikola Tesla attended it starting in 1870, and I attended it in the late 90'. The same school is still there :) All the best.
DeleteTesla was born in the area of Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy (at the military borderland) that is today in Croatia, however he is from Serb descent, learned inter alia in Graz, worked in Budapest with Tivadar Puskas, then worked for, and later competed with Edison in the USA.
DeleteHe was a citizen of Earth. That's all. Oh and a real Genious, not like the also respected but a bit overestimated Albert Einstein.
What an information. Thanks a lot. I was borne in Budapest.
DeleteHow stupid you are Damien.. I really am uninspired by angry people like you who can't even read.
DeleteBravo, Sonja! The world would be a better place if we all thought that way, but unfortunately, ignorance continues to prevail. It's a sad world. Tesla was a genius!
DeleteDoes it really matter about Tesla's natonality and allegiances? This is silly, irrelevant political point scoring. Tesla the person is not a possession. However, his genius is his gift to the world - which is really what matters.
DeleteBravo Sonja. You are a beautiful soul.
DeleteIf it doesn't matter where he's from..then why did you mention you went to the same school as him..IN CROATIA?
DeleteSo if anyone ever wants to see where he lived, stayed, or places he visited they'd know where to go.
DeleteI totally agree,as is the case so many times nowadays, we get caught up in the irrelevant facts only to miss that which is most important. We are all in this mess together!!!! Let's work it out.
DeleteAmazing videos
ReplyDeleteTesla had his work stolen and ridiculed. A crime. Edison was a liar, passing off Teslas work as his own, because he was willing to bargain with the Illuminati. Serb, Croat, who cares. Today it is Croatia. Just like Iran is no longer refered to as Persia.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me where can I find torrent file with all of his work...I know that there is somewhere, but I just can't find it...it had books, interviews(i think), other TV shows..thanks in advance. cheers! :)
ReplyDeletethe time has come for revolution in the world !!!!
ReplyDeleteTotally AGREE! !!
DeleteWhole Tesla family are Serbs and Nikola Tesla's father was Serbian orthodox church priest so there is no doubt that Nikola Tesla was Serb and orthodox. He was born in Austro-Hungary and his mother was very closed relative to Tito's wife Jovanka Broz. I really do not understand people who say "I went to the same school as he was" or "I am from Croatia and Lika is part of Croatia" because it doesn't make any sense 70 years after his death. He was born in different times and it cannot be compare to present situation in Croatia. As the matter of fact, Croatian soldiers destroy his monument, birth-house and museum in his birth place Smiljan in Lika during the last war in Croatia in 90s. There is only Tesla Museum in Belgrade, Serbia because he is Serb and that museum holds most of his documents, paper works etc.It was all collected by his sister's son Sava Kosanovic and now it is safe in Tesla Museum in Belgrade. All his relatives left Croatia during the last war in 90s affraid for his lives because of Croatian soldiers. So, it is make me sick when I found out that some Croats say that Tesla is Croat or from Croatia. NO, Tesla is Serb from Austro-Hungary, born from Serbian mother and father and Croatia never do anything for him. Tesla was one of the masterminds in whole human history and, of course, he was Serb. Albert Einstein is Jew, no matter where he was born and where he died, no matter that was non-observant Jew family and no matter that he attended Catholic school in Germany and never practice Judaism. But he was Jew, like Nikola Tesla was Serb. Clear?
ReplyDeleteHow cant you understand that a person has physically been in the same school as Tesla, but at a different time.? It is fully possible. Why should you take away that joy?
DeleteAnd a response to your other claims;
" Gospić is also where Tesla attended high school and there’s a plaque on the building bearing his likeness. It was the second most damaged Croatian city during its war for independence. Three matching Tesla statues commissioned by the Yugoslavian government were placed at Niagara Falls (on the US side), at Belgrade University, and Tesla Square in Gospić, but it was destroyed during the war. I’ve heard from locals that it’s being repaired in Zagreb and will be restored to it’s proper place in the town square, and the Tesla Trifecta will be back…"
Gospic was the second most damage city in croatia after the war. Why would croatians attack their own city?
Please check your facts before posting negative stuff that is not true.
Teslas parrents was serbs, but he was born in croatia, like many other serbs.
Theres a memorial museum at the small town he was borned that has been renovated after the war damages.
http://www.nikolateslatour.com/blog/2012/09/05/nikola-teslas-birthplace-museum-and-memorial-center-in-smiljan-croatia/
Dear friend, you obviously know NOTHING about history of Croatia. There was no Croatia in the time of Tesla's birth, it was Austro-Hungary monarchy. So, Tesla is not born in Croatia and do not spread false facts if you do not know the true facts. I am Serb born in Croatia and I know Croatian history very well. In you fairytale Serbs destroy Croatian town of Gospic and monument of the greatest SERB ever lived on Earth, Tesla? Well, live with that, it's ok for me:) In Gospic, Croats killed hundreds of Serbs and in the big Croatian Army operation named "Storm" (Oluja), they distroyed Tesla's monument because he was Serb. In that operation they killed thousands of Serb and 120.000 Serb must left their homes and moved to Serbia. Understand? Tesla was not born in SMALL TOWN, it was SMALL VILLAGE, and everything in that village was destroyed because they hated Tesla as a Serb. Recently, after worldwide cultural workers and intellectuals questioned Tesla status in Croatia, Croats decided to repair everything THEY damaged. I'm so sorry that you do not obviously understand Croatian because in Croatian newspaper you can find that Tesla monument is still in some backyard waiting to be restored.
DeleteAnd what the other girl said about his school, it was not a joke, not in our way of joking. She said that she attend the very same school where Tesla spent his early school days. She did not say that she attend that school along with Tesla or that they lived at the same time. You just did not get it what she thought. I totally understand her because we speak the same language and when she made grammatical error in English, I still can understand her because we think in the same language.
Tesla is a common last name among Serbs in CRoatia, and during my schooldays in Croatia I also was in the same classroom with a boy named Nikola Tesla. So, I could truly said that I was in the class with Nikola Tesla but not THE Nikola Tesla, this was the other one.
After all, it is pointless to speak of war in Croatia and Tesla, because Tesla died in the middle of the 2nd world war and in that war also everything in his home village was destroyed, many Serbs killed, there was concentration camps for Serbs and Jews in Croatia (Jasenovac) etc. I'm deeply sure that he would never say after the 2nd world war that he is Croat because Croats kill most of his relatives during the 2nd world war. History of Serbs in Croatia is too complicated for those who are not Serbs or Croats and foreigners can't understand it.
Tesla was man above all this history facts. He was from another better world. Believe me.
Well said Annonymous December 28th and your other posts. There can only be 1 Truth and that is True ;-)
Deletety!the smartest man to ever grace the planet! too bad our govt sucks ass!
ReplyDeleteAhahahaha! He said, "So you're 156 years old." He must have really wanted to call someone stupid and didn't bother to read the post. *crying laughing*
ReplyDeleteSad that if a profit method can not be applied that the world has had to suffer for the sake of profits for the Energy Industry as pollution destroys the world we live in because of GREED. It could have been avoided by embracing Tesla's breakthroughs in the first half of the Twentieth Century.

I checked out the link above, and then saw that there is a lot of information about Tesla on the same website too. Maybe somebody would find it inspirational :)
ReplyDeletehttp://peswiki.com/index.php/PowerPedia:Nikola_Tesla
In my soft-more year of my EE studies, at the University of S.A.(U.S.A.), we were asked to write an essay on the one engineer that we felt contributed the most to our modern day science/technology. I chose Tesla, and did a very thorough and comprehensive paper. I received a C+ on that paper, and the reason I was given was that he was discredited. That inspired me to continue learning and studying him. I am 52 now, a very successful engineer, and I know that he was the most important inventor and creator of modern times !
ReplyDeletehow and why he got discredited?
DeleteNikola Tesla was an extrodinary human, no matter what his heritage, its to bad he was disclaimed and his technology stolen. Who knows where we would be was he allowed to persue his knowledge. We lost one of the greatest minds of the future, but he will never be forgotten. All of us will persue his interests and maybe will inspire a future reincarnatuion of his knowledge.May we have the knowledge to use his technology for the good of mankind now for the good of another mans wallet.
ReplyDeleteThere is an answer to every thing we need in life, we have to only be open believing and willing to explore in order to find it. Tesla was a answer how long will it take before he is believed in?
ReplyDeleteI think we have always (at least I have) believed in Tesla's work but the mind scrubbers have kept us in the dark with all the smoke... Insistence to "not look at the car wreck" and instead distracting us with large breasts, Vegas, Justin Bieber, weight reduction and football, we have grown to be a greedy group with a false sense of pride(the westernized world doesn't really produce anything any more but a pile of difficult to recycle garbage and mountains of paper to prove it). Misinformation is all around us and logic and reason seem to have no place in today's society. Funny that on a site like this commenters would debate where Tesla came from as if there was something to win or gain...Who cares where he came from etc!!! He did some amazing things and we should just shut up and solve some of his idea's, share some info and idea's to help get this world figured out while we still stand a chance of doing it without an all out war, which again is only going to produce more suffering, a few new ways of whacking folks and of course copious amounts of hard to recycle garbage. I believe everything we need to exist, free energy included is already here for the sharing. Accessing said energy is probably very simple to accomplish if we just forget the semantics of who came up with the idea. Tesla is dead ok...I'm adopted and had no idea where I came from (until a few yrs ago), so does it matter that I'm green ,red , blue etc. "No"....lets just do our best to avoid the looters and get on with it.... the clock is ticking
ReplyDelete^This. The reality of humanity's "situation" of unnecessary war (from America, etc.) and 3rd world starvation/poverty is hard for many to even acknowledge, let alone act on. When unsustainable business interests and greed trump morality, basic human rights, and the preservation of ecosystems, something is definitely wrong. When we "westerners" are largely reduced to materialistic, debt-buried sheep who can't/won't think for ourselves or even question why things are the way they are, something needs to change. As an American, I'm proud of our early history and culture, but embarrassed of what a mob of ignorant fools we've mostly turned into. Ok, end tangent/rant. I wish we lived in a world where the Nikola Teslas of the world would be celebrated and brought to the forefront of public awareness, rather than ridiculed and ignored in most history books. But like others have said, the almighty dollar is almost always put before all that. Pity.
DeleteThere is nothing comparable between Nikola Tesla who's a genius and Albert Einstein. It seems that people are not very well informed or worse: Brain washed. Another ignored scientist that never got recognition is Henry Poincare , Albert Einstein's teacher who was ... more than inspiration for young Albert.
Deletehey admin I hope you upload the subtitle of the secret of nikola tesla because I have same difficult with hearing the words of english
ReplyDeleteNIKOLAS TESLA is the real genius; the forgotten scientist, the world will ever have who didn'nt cared about himself and worked for mankind.

ReplyDeletegive us some link other than youtube. we have youtube blocked here. I tried many times but never found myself lucky to watch it.
ReplyDeleteI reaaly want to watch, but I can't use your site on my phone. There's some sort of mobile theme that's preventing pinch to zoom so I can only see the left half of the video. Android, chrome.
ReplyDeleteTesla was a brilliant mind. I found out about his DIY free electricity generator at www.teslasecretsrevealed.com - It's worth checking out if you're interested in this sort of stuff.
ReplyDeleteThis whole profit motive idea is what has made Capitalist countries the most advanced technologically. Because Capitalism rewards innovation. Innovation is born of human greed (profit motive). "Build a better mouse trap and people will buy IT". All people are greedy...everyone! Even the most pious who claim to not have greed, will call the need to eat, house and clothe themselves, something else, but it is what they must obtain for themselves that is human instinct, also known as greed.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that Tesla was the rightful innovator of alternating current, but was cheated out of his rights by others who wanted to be rich (BIG profit motive).
He who claims to be without greed, does not understand the meaning of the word or is a liar. It comes with being an organism.
