The American Dream - The Story of Your Enslavement

The AMERICAN DREAM is a 30 minute animated film that shows how we have been scammed by the most basic elements of our government system. All Americans strive for the American Dream and this film shows you why your dream is getting farther and farther away.

Subtitles available: English, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese(Brazil), Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Finnish. - Click on CC to turn the captions on.

IT'S CALLED THE AMERICAN DREAM BECAUSE YOU HAVE IT TO BE ASLEEP TO BELIEVE IT

Do you know how your money is created? Or how banking works? Why did housing prices skyrocket and then plunge? Do you really know what the Federal Reserve System is and how it affects you every single day?

The video creators understand that how the monetary system works can be very confusing to some and have done a brilliant job in explaining how the whole system is set up to keep you forever in debt. This is not what the original founding fathers of America had in mind. Also this is not just an American problem. It's the same scam in nearly all countries around the world.

THE AMERICAN DREAM takes an entertaining but hard hitting look at how the problems we have today are nothing new, and why leaders throughout our history have warned us and fought against the current type of financial system we have in America today.

You will be challenged to investigate some very entrenched and powerful institutions in this nation, and hopefully encouraged to help get our world back on track.

“It's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.” -George Carlin

The best form of government is where you govern yourself. Know thyself and Meditate, could also be called mindfulness of why you think the way you think and act the way you act. The reason most people in the world are slaves is because they simply follow, imitate or believe someone or immediately disbelief someone that contradict their belief system; what they believe or perceive reality is. What we need is to BE the leader, the follower, the teacher and the student.

We can only be kept in the cages we do not see. A brief history of human enslavement - up to and including your own. From Freedomain Radio, the largest and most popular philosophy conversation in the world.

“35 million people in the U.S. are hungry or don't know where their next meal is coming from, and 13 million of them are children. If another country were doing this to our children, we'd be at war.” -Jeff Bridges

  2. Saddest thing is thar even when people watch these kind of documentaries or become aware of the bigger picture, they are so entrenched in the mess we cannot get off the wheel. I would say that it would take a significant event to produce enough unity within the human race for the majority to make stand against those that control us in this modern slavery. What would happen if we all rebeled? I'd guess that we would be pronounced law breakers, civil disobedience would be dealt with by force using the military and police force we believe are here to serve and protect us (and our taxes are used to pay for)I would dearly love to see global change but I am cynical as to how this will come about? A world war? Global economic crisis such as bankruptcy? Mass famine or disease? I hope I see a positive peaceful revolution in my lifetime! I sadly and honestly doubt that this will occur. I fear our quality of life will suffer a lot more before anything changes.

    1. There would come a time when even the Military and Police etc would say no more and not take up arms against the masses......it has happened before. I will happen again. Throw out the fear that the Red Shield feeds on!! <3

  3. i have been trying to preach this for years. it is truly sad when people will roll over and blindly accept that sociopathic structure as reality

  4. I was thrown out of more schools than most people would ever go to in there life & could see this 30 years ago. How can people that have had the benefit of a decent education be pulled along by there nose & not see what was happening. (the man he says if it looks to good to be true it probably is). This site I have just stumbled across & find it says every thing that I have been talking about for 30 years. Welcome to the revolution. Wake up & smell the coffee.

  5. Go back to the basics. Be self sufficient whilst being in the system. Gradually take back control over your own lives....then show others how to.....eventually kick starting a 'domino effect'. Examples of how to do this...(1) grow your own food, herbs (organic),make your own compost etc will help reduce your cost of living and dependancy on the system in the meantime...while you try to work out the means by which you survive. So, think of it as living in 2 parallel systems, the system that controls you...and the system of survival you are trying to establish with others. (2) learn extra skills, trades...such as crafts (to trade with in your towns, with your own local currency, therefore creating domestic trade and contributing to GDP and possibly for exporting. (3)DIY, building (be it wood, clay, bricks etc), building bread ovens ( using wood as source of fuel.....for example in Germany, in the blackforest, the germans grow a fast growing variety of spruce/conifer trees, so as they cut down 1 yr old trees, they plant new small trees in their place for sustainability. The cut wood is used in house burners for heating up central heating, water etc. It is fuel efficient, and more favourable in terms of CO emissions compared to gas and electricity).(4)small wind turbines for residential holdings for creating energy for domestic use.Solar panels, for energy efficiency, savings, environmentally friendly, less dependancy on monopolies (energy companies...rising fuels costs...and companies not passing on savings to customers....instead enhancing their profits).(5) Unlimited Food Supply With Aquaponics (grow your own fish for food - to places where they recycle and sell products cheaper e.g. wood, for building etc and contributing to the earth by less wastage. Also...e.g. manure/compost you pick up for free from farmers for growing your own food. 'Preloved.co.uk' gives materials, resourceshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xx_QdyYQkXs). (6) Your own chickens in your backyard...my neighbour has them.....they supply eggs....as well as meat! For those with no gardens...there are community projects you can start or get involved in ...where elderly people can't keep up woth gardening....so community volunteers by agreement with the owner.....grow vegetables etc in the owners garden...and the owner receives a share of the vegetables and so does the group or community...by working together in harmony, unity and clever, creative thinking and organisation.(7) Go for practically nothing or very small fees.

These are but a few ideas......just imagine what you all can come up with....it's amazing what you can find on the internet these days, youtube documenting other's people's experiences, projects, ideas. Or by going out into the world, your city, keeping your eyes and ears open for opportunities, ideas, people who you interact or bump into....from who you can learn or exchange ideas...or get together on a project.

Where there is a will or a desire to truly change as a person or a situation...is down to each individual......and depending on that one individual......a whole world of individuals can all together achieve and contribute to a 'natural order of things'...a solution that is practical, logical, powerful by empowering individuals, promotes equality and true value, in terms of trade (actual goods bought and sold or exchanged with currency with actual value).Don't need to be a genius.....anyone can do this....we all have the same human brain/mind capable of so many amazing ideas put into practice..........just need pure determination, will power, focus, motivation.....pushing ahead no matter what the obstacles, fears, commentary.....in the end you will succeed. And what an achievement that would be!

  9. This is an interesting documentary, to my understanding it is similar here in Canada, only the names of the institutions are different.
I would like to point out that social change might be best addressed in a holistic way... not just one single issue. That being said, the sexism in the documentary is disappointing. The only females depicted were in bikinis (and their tops were ripped off, off screen) and mud wrestlers. Wow. How empowering. (insert sarcastic tone)
Change has to come from all of us, and it's not just about stopping the use of credit cards etc.
We need to work together, to support each other and build our resilience as a society.

  10. If you think about the statement " living the American Dream" This in my opinion would suggest that people are asleep. You can day dream but you are still not in the present. We in Ireland lived a dream up to 2008. Still people were in dire straits with little money waiting for their chance to earn money. I realised a few years ago that economies are built around a cycle. This cycle will always mean less well off people will have less. When you know about this cycle you can choose not to be part of it. You choose????
